There are a number of different ways that you can take care of your overall health and wellness to remain both physically and mentally healthy. One of the factors that you might not always consider though is your overall oral health. Maintaining your oral health is a crucial piece of your overall wellness, so it is so important to ensure that you have the best dental insurance plan possible. If you are considering switching to a new dental insurance plan, or buying dental insurance for the first time, consider the following options

Cigna
Voted by Investopedia as the best overall dental insurance plans in 2021, Cigna is a great option for dental insurance. With three different policies available across all 50 states, Cigna’s plans can help cover a variety of costs that may be associated with dental upkeep and treatment. Additionally, Cigna’s dental plans are also accepted by over 93,000 dentists across the United States, making it a strong option for individuals of all backgrounds. While it can take up to six to twelve months to get approval for major services, Cigna’s dental plans still provide a number of benefits that make the wait worthwhile.

Renaissance Dental
Another well-known option for dental insurance is from Renaissance Dental. With a network of over 300,000 dentists around the country, the plans provided by Renaissance Dental can be used in a number of locations in the United States. They offer four different dental plans, and have become known for their exceptional customer service skills. While their options provide coverage for a number of preventative care and treatments, the plans do not cover all services offered by a dentist.

Humana
For those who do not need an elevated dental care plan, the options provided by Humana may be the right choice. With great value and low rates for new policy holders, the five plans offered by Humana are available across the United States, with a network of over 260,000 dentists. Because of the longer waiting times that may come with the plans offered by Humana, it may not be the best option for those who require ongoing dental care.
